snow storm - monday

hello!
woke up afetr a great sleep, i didn't even wake during the night because i was cold, i did have a sheet, blanket, doona, blanket and another doona though. which was so heavy i couldn't even roll over, but hey, at least i wasn't cold.
so i went downstairs and wrapped myself up in a blanket and had a cuppa in front of the fire - the only source of heat in our house.
then karens brotehrs kids came over because their parents both have to work, and we went to west hartford to look for a cell signal, had maccas for lunch, then came home and sat around the fire again.
and thats where i sat for the rest of the day.
i ended up finishing my book so now i don't have anything to read :(
oh and i got to have a shower! only 45 seconds worth, but god it was good!
and by the way - the kids are with their dad where they still ahve power - an hour and a half away. so i don't have to worry about keeping them occupied. x
