it has been five days and six nights.
i am going insane.
before i get into what happened today i will let you know that..
- the reason the electricity has been out for so long is because so many powerlines are down. and the big huge tower things are down too. that is because all the trees still had most of their leaves on them so when the 10 inches of snow fell the limbs broke off - onto the lines.
- all week joanne and i have had three kids at home.. you can imagine how hard it was to keep them occupied all week.
so today - we had seven kids, because my four were home.
do you know what its liek to have seven kids at home under the age of twelve with no power?!well let me tell you.. it is your worst nightmare. i am super glad toay is over.
we stayed at home for the morning and then went to the playground in the afternoon for a while. where there were these guys at soccer practice, so i ahd a little eye candy for the day.
came home and the kids played hairdressers and i did all the washing up and cleaned the house ready for the weekend.
then when karen got home at eight i went to robyns house (the mansion) because she has power back! power people! and we watched the new death at a funeral and then i slept in the same luxurious bed. then at 5am my phone rang and it was little sister. she was at her end of year ball and calling cause she missed me. how cute. she obviously didn't take into consideration the time difference.. lucky i love her.
