day after the feast..

hello!
so today is know as 'black friday' when everything is reduced. and by reduced, i mean, a sale on steroids. everywhere! doors open at 12am friday morning and the sale in some cases, goes until 12pm friday.
these are the type of sales where people are trampled when the doors are opened and get severely injured because no one has time to help you if they are going to get their hands on one of the $200 laptops or someone shoots you because you took the last $90 mix master - okay so that one is a bit of an exaggeration.
i however did not and will not be going to these sales - one, because there is no way in hell i am getting up in the middle of the night while its freezing to get a good deal and two because the sale is pretty much still on tomorrow, anddd people wont be as crazy, so i am going to go then and do my christmas shopping.
back to todays household events - the kids had no school so they slept until nine. score.
and then we sat around and watched tv, then played cards and yahtzee - the pokemon version, and animal soup and zingo - like bingo but wayyyy cooler.
and by the time the kids owned me in each and every one of those games their dad had come (at 1pm) and they left for the weekend.
so i heated myself up a big juicy turkey wing and watched tv, before having a nanna nap.
showered and got ready for dinner, and then skyped with grandma and pa! and elana and luke were there as well! grandma just got a new laptop and now has skype!

so then i went to ulta to buy a nail file for my handbag while waiting for our table at bettuccis.
had a delicious dinner, went to barnes and noble to have a look and now i am home and sooooo ready for bed.
