sorry!

hello!
yes i know, i know, you all probabley think something terrible has happened because i haven't posted anything yet. sorry about that. i will explain what happened in a second.
so yesterday i got the kids ready for school, started the washing, skyped (unsuccessfully) with grandma and sharon, dad was asleep and i am guessing pa was too. and  then i went to the gym for just over an hour, came home and all the kids had a half day at school which meant that they were home at 12. greaaattt.
so i had to think of things to occupy them with for the additional 4 hours that they are not usually here.
so we watched tv, had lunch and then played outside. in the sandpit, chalk on the driveway, soccer, "familys", swings, monkey bars, you name it, i was doing it. and might i add that it was 33 degrees yesterday! so hot. and no breeze. two days ago it was 11 degrees during the day, but i am told that the weather here is always super crazy like that.
then i made them some dinner after playing for hours on end outside.
karen came home, and then harrison had a late baseball game, so they went to that and i went to stop and shop to get one of those little sorbet tubs and a dvd and thats when lauren text to see if i wanted to go to an ice cream and movie night at christinas. so of course i did.
i came home first, ate dinner and then left just before nine. so we hung out for a bit and then watched 'the girl with the dragon tattoo', sooooo much better then expected. so we decided that, "what the hell we may as well stay up all night and watch the rest" and this is why there was no post. so we stayed and watched the second and third movies, slept for maybe two hours then i came home at 8.
whilst driving home though, i have to say, i almost died.
well not really, BUT christinas house is in this little estate thing so when you go in, the in and out sides on the road are seperated by a big island with trees and plants and stuff.
right, so i am driving home this morning and just drove down the wrong side! so casually! got half way and realised, had a heart attack, thanked the lord it was early on a saturday and no one was around, and reversed back to then continue on the right side.
and i hurt my foot last night. fell down the last two or three steps in the staircase. god it hurt. now i walk with a limp. attractive.
so i am going to have a nanna nap now.
