so frustrating..

hellloooooo!
so as most mornings, i cleaned, washed, got kids ready and then lazed around for a little bit. then after i watched hereafter - not recommended - wasn't that great, i got ready and went to marshells. it was fantastic. i could have easily spent a long time in there. my purpose was to get gym clothes which i did and with not alot of money.
what happens is that you pick up some shorts right, say the ones i got, new balance, and it has the actual new balance tag on it that says $44.00 and then it has the marshells tag on it that says $14.99. can you say bargain!? and thats what its like for everything. like brand or designer names for really cheap prices.
so i got a couple of t-shirts and a couple of shorts and then had to stop myself from buying ten tonne of other stuff.
then i went to wal-mart because marshells didn't have the joggers i wanted in my size, and got the ones that tone as you walk for $22.00. i love america.
hm what after that.. i went to staples (american version of office works) and got mothers day and birthday cards that the kids made, laminated. and went to stop and shop to buy eggs and return my dvd.
then i came home, unpacked my glorious bargains and then harrsion came home...
the rest of the kiddies came home and the two youngest boys got ready for cub scouts (so cute!) and harrison got ready for baseball training. then the boys got picked up and went and i took harrison to practice and then rachel and i went and ran a few errands before going to macdonalds for dinner. i decided she was being really good and could have a treat.
so we are standing at the counter and i'm trying to find something healthy, didn't happen. i even asked the guy if they had the heart tick approved healthy choices range and hes like uhhh we have salad, with a stupid look on his face. so i got a ceasar salad, anddddd guess how many calories were in the dressing? 240! two hundred and forty calories! just in the dressing! i almost died.
oh and i will just add in the the maccas here is so out dated, the actual resteraunt i mean. ours is wayyyyy better. just so you know.
soo then rachel wanted her favourite ice cream so we went to the ice cream place and while we were choosing the two girls behind the counter were like, oh my god are you from australia?! because they had heard my accent. and i was like yeah i am. and they were absolutely amazed. and thought it was so cool that i was an au pair and wanted to know all about aus and blah blah. it was amazing at how interested they were.
so anyways, we came home the kids played and now they have gone to bed.
oh and the frustrating thing i am talking about in the title is american driving. argh! my god. its called a blinker! use it america! they just don't indicate. and they pull out in front of you so you have to slam on the breaks and it is driving me insane (no pun intended).
^ i think i used the whole 'no pun intended' thing right?
might go shower now.
goodnight! x
p.s knowing the calories in everything is horrible. consider yourselves lucky that we don't have them printed on EVRYTHING that you eat in australia.
