out and about..

hello australia!
this morning was the first day of camp! hallalujah!
the kids go basically for school hours on school days, for the next two weeks!
god bless america and summer camp.
not that i don't love hanging with the kids and all, but it has been a loooooong two weeks of having them full time.
so i got their lunch packed, and their swimmers and towels, they had breakfast and got dressed, and then i dropped them off to where the bus picks them up. karen came too, because she took the day off work, and then i dropped karen home and went to the mall.
yes, by myself.
which i love because i can take my time, do what i want, eat when i want, not hang around and wait for other people in the dressing rooms, but i was also a loner. i wish chloe was there. i miss shopping with her.
i did restrain myself though and only bought two pieces of clothing - a new pair of jeans from american eagle, they were on sale $40, and a cuffed, loose sweater thing, for when it cools down again, from forever 21 for $11, and a necklace too.
then after strollinga round for quite a while, i was on my way to the toilet, and of course, i got distracted. a man was outside an italian place giving people little garlic bread samples, so when he stopped me i tried one and instantly went inside - good marketing if you ask me. and it was so cheap! and so yummy! i got a slice of pizza, with a side ceasar salad and a drink for $7.
finally ended up going to the toilet, then i went to the library to return book number 2 & 3 and borrow the rest. turns out there are 14 in the series, i read #5 this afternoon and just started #6.
then i went and picked up the kdis at 4, came home, and then did all my usual monday cleaning. tidying, sweeping, putting away, bathrooms..etc. made dinner and read more of my book.
now i am ready to sleep.. hopefully before 10:30, i'm so tired.
