hello!
so i made it! i made it through almost three months of summer holidays with four kids!
i'm brilliant right? haha
so this morning the kids decided they didnt want to do anything at all all day, so i let them, because it was their last day of freedom.
so they bummed around while i did the washing and cleaning etc, then we played in the basement and managed to trash it again, so i shall clean it tomorrow.
matt and rach had a playdate with the girl across the street while i watched a movie with the boys.
and then we picked up the sticks and small branches that were all over the front yard from the "hurricane"...
and it was a nightmare. talk about hard labour.
they were whining about doing it and throwing the sticks at each other and chasing each other with rakes lol
and then harrison snuck off with one of his friends back to his place, the little devil, so i called them up and got him sent back home, and i was so tired by the end of it. rach was the only one who actually did it, no questions asked. she was like a little stick picking up machine... doing it faster then i could rake them into piles.
and then i took them to maccas for dinner. they all sat with their eyes glued to the tv while eating - not even looking away to see their food. its insane at how robotic kids become when a tv is on.
so i just sat back and read my cosmo that came in the mail today.
then we came home and i went to starbucks..
lauren and i dropped by stop and shop to get some hair treatments and face masks, which i will test out tomorrow, alone, in a nice quiet and peaceful house...
