hello!
so the hurricane really is a comin'..
will hit connecticut on sunday..
and because of it, the new york city cruise has been postponed until fall :(
booooooo. BUT
there is a plus side, which i will get to in a moment...
so this morning it was just the twins and i again, so the house was nice and quiet.
we just hung around the house until 10ish and then went to get joanne (kids grandma) to go to target.
we brought a new bookcase and photo frames and decorative things for her new and improved office, and the kids got toys and i just kept it all under control.
while we were there rach was skipping on her skipping rope the whole time, trying to beat her record..
lucky the aisles were wide, because she almost took out a few peoples eyes..
then we had lunch, a very cheap lunch...
because americans can never be somewhere without having a food place attached, like the starbucks and pizza hut attached to target, we had lunch right after we went throught the check out.. and it was only $3 for a kids meal!
so then i dropped joanne and the kdis off at her house and went to the dentist, sigh.
well first i went to the wrong dentist! can you freakin believe it?! sooooo embarrassing.
so i walk in, and say i have an appointment for 2:40 for danielle, and she is like, uhmm noooo there is no appointment schedualed. so i am thinking, great, just great, she didnt put it in the system this morning, and then she is like, are you sure this is the right dentist, there is one across the road.. I COULD HAVE DIED!
i was just like, oh uhm sorry about that... pretty much ran out the door. and to make it worse, there were people in the waiting room listening the whole time!
so i went across the road, and, sure enough, i had an appointment.
(oh by the way, tuesday night my wisdom tooth started hurting again, and by wednesday morning my inside cheek was all swollen up - hence the dentist appointment - because i freaked myself out when i was googling it)
and he has put me on anti biotics and given me this medicated mouth rinse but says that it will just keep getting infected and i need it taken out, and blah blah... gave me a treatment plan - i may as well just sell everything i own... and it MAY just cover how much it will cost, because of course he wants to take out all four at once!
so this is the good side to the cruise postponment.. i wont have to party in pain or while taking drugs.. prescription drugs that is.
so then i put in my prescription at walgreens, went back to hang with the kdis until matt and harrison got dropped off and then we came home by 6. i skyped with mum.
made dinner, ate my dinner while what could have quite possibley hurt as much as a jack hammer pounded into my jaw, and now i am reading my book.
which is a kate brian book called - megan meade's guide to the McGowan boys. and it is so good!

while i cry myself to sleep because my mouth hurts so much.. haha kidding, don't worry, i will be fine.
