hello!
saturday morning.. oh the joy.
i slept until 10, got up, dressed and fed by 10:45 and then emma was here to pick me up to go shopping!
so we went to westfarms mall, it has everything, and we shopped.
i was looking for a dress specifically - for the new york city cruise next saturday night - but of course, i brought everything BUT a dress. typical.
i got a really nice, brown vintage looking bag, and a long sleeve roll up button down cream shirt for over singlets from H&M, a cute white with cut outs shirt from forever 21 and a shirt for chloe and a pinkish patterned singlet for me from pacsun. and we had lunch at the best little place, i had a turkey salad sandwhich - so yum.
then she dropped me home at about 2:30 because she had to work this afternoon, so i had a nanna nap until 4:30.
then i got up and went shopping again - because i still didn't have a dress - to the farmington shoppes.
looked at a couple of little boutiques, american eagle and kohls - nothing. a whole lot of zippo.
it seems that in america you either can buy a super casual dress or an over the top i am going to a ball dress. nothing that just says 'i'm a nice little sexy dress that you can wear in new york on a cruise'.
so i went to marshells, good old marshells, and i found a dress!
i am not 100% settled on it.. i did buy it though because it was only $14, but i still might wear something i already have..
then i met lauren at the movies and we saw 'the help'... such a great movie.. i was crying and laughing. and it was just great. grandma and aunty elana  - you should see it together.
then we were starved so we went to subway - closed - of course, went to maccas, sat in there until 11, because they are open until midnight and then just the drive thru is open 24 hours.
so i came home, skyped with mum and got a tour of the new house! which i love!
andnow i am  about to have a shower, and hit the hay.
