two kids..

hey..
i'm just going to start by saying.. today i read a book. a whole book in one day. i would actually say it was in around 4 hours. it was the third book in my series, and i have started the fourth.
but back to what happened today..
it was overcast, and raining, and about 22 degrees and miserable.
so the kids and i (just rach and harrison) went to the library for a good two hours, came home and had lunch, they played in the sandpit and on the swings for myabe half an hour, but then it rained so they came inside and watched the dvds they borrowed from the library, while i sat with them and read my book.
and i got a package today! from my lovely, beautiful, thoughtful friends. steph, rach, stephyg, kellee and breoni to be exact. and it included two packets of tim tams (score!) and letters/ pictures/ photo books etc. and i was crying as i read through all of it, and then crying and laughing histerically at stephyg's letter.. so i looked like an insane person, and the kids were all like, what the hell is wrong with her. haha
then karen got home and we went to her friends house for "stamp camp"... which was awesome! we made cards! like actually made the type of gorgeous cards that you see in the newagents for like $9 each. we did four each, and they are sooooo pretty.
then they dropped me home, because i am exhusted from my super long week with the kids, and they all went to karens brothers to hang out for a while.
now i am waiting to see if dad is going to come online so we can skype. dad where are you?
oh and i am in the middle of watching bridesmaids again because it is one of the funniest movies ever made. watch it.
