day three.

monday -
well this morning started off the same as usual, walked into the kitchen onto a pile of coco pops on the floor which all smashed up under my foot, super start to the day..
then skip made french toast for breakfast, i got the kids ready for the beach and off we went.
it was overcast roday but the kids swam anyway. the rach wanted me to go wave jumping with her, so i got in, only to discover that the bottom of the ocean is covered in rocks until you get out far enough, which is then infested with seaweed.. safe to say australias beaches are better.
anyway so rach ditched me after about ten minutes because she got "washed away three times by big waves" so she says lol
so i went boogie boarding with harrison and we swam a bit until he got bored and left, so i gave up on being in the water and watched them build sandcastles instead.
and while i was standing right on the waters edge a HUGE wave came a smashed this couple laying on their towels, they were saturated, and i was killing myself laughing because they didn't even see it coming.. god it was funny.
then we came home, showered i made lunch and then we went to the library, where i checked my fb and only had three notifications after almost three days.. seriously?
and i also got a book.
then we went and got icecream came home and hung out, had dinner and watched school of rock.
i got the kids ready for bed and am about to go to sleep.
this is one tiresome vacation.
