saturday -
hey everyone..
so today we left for rhode island but before we did, this is what happened..
i got up and finished packing, had a shower to reveal my lovely tan, and the went to ulta to buy some foundation to match my new browness.
when i got home, karen was ready to go, and off we went.
that is until we get half way to mystic (where the kids were with their dad) and get a phone call from the kids saying that they only actually had two bikes with them not three like we were originally told.. we had only packed one bike, and because there is no possible way on earth that we could have four kids and only three bikes, we turned around and drove home to get another one...
so we finally picked up the kids and then stopped at maccas for lunch where harrison and matt dunked and pretty much drowned all of their fries in their thickshakes before finding and eating them.. superrrrr glad we didn't eat in the car as planned - it wasn't exactly the cleanest meal ever..
then we got to the beach house! and i love it! its two story with a kitchen, loungeroom, sunroom, bathroom and two bedrooms on each floor. and a cute gazebo attached to the house by a deck that we eat in.
so after unpacking ten thousand tonnes of stuff (i literally didn't realise how many toys, books, things to do etc and clothes needed to be packed for kids going on vacation) we went down to the beach so the kids could have a swim..
brought back half the worlds population of rocks and sand with us in the kids hair, boardies, swimmer bottoms, butt cracks etc
got all the kids showered, fed and watching a movie.
now they are sleeping and i am ready to sleep as well.
its not really a vacation for me, i still work, so the alarm is set for 8:30am.
