wednesday! helloooo holidays!

hey again!
today i started my two week holiday! woo hoo!
i got up at seven and got ready and then got the kids up and off to school.
so once they had left karen drove me to the airport.
so i get there and have to check in, even though i had checked in online at the neighbours house the night before which was strange.
then the x-rayed by check in bag, all is good.
i go through security, where everyone has to take their shoes off, so everyone is walking around is socks. then he took my bug spray off me because it was over 100ml :( and yes, i do carry bug spray in my handbag.
so i board my first flight to new jersey but we were sitting on the tarmac for about an hour because the plane was over weight - handy.
so they ended up bringing everyones carry on luggage (they put it under the plane on small flights) back onto the plane and you had to say which one was yours so the guy could put it in the over head compartment.
then we finally left and when we got to jersey i got straight onto my next flight to seattle.
it was pretty good. we were on there for six hours but i had an aisle seat so it was all good.
and i am almost finished the book i am reading at the moment which has taken me forever to read.
so THEN, we land, and because the airport is so big you have to get a shuttle train to the main terminal where the bagge claim is. so i get on and off again. go to the carosel i thought i was supposed to be at, turns out i was wrong, then i found lucy and the kids! i didnt actually know if she remembered so i was worried she wouldnt be there.. but she was.
then we go to the right carosel and i couldnt see my bag. now there were only a handful of bags left because im an idiot and got there after everyone else, but it kept going around and around and my bag was not there.. THEY LOST IT!!!
so i go to the bagge desk and she told me it was on another flight to seattle and wouldnt be here until midnight and that they would deliver it tomorrow! can you believe it ?!
of alllll the people it could of happened to it was me! plus another two guys.
so we left, without everything i packed, because in my carry on i only had a few coats and pj's and some shoes.. real handy.
so we came home, jack and sarah were very excited to see me, and it was the first time i had met ben - he is only one.
we had dinner and hung out, talked to mum, oh and used the xbox kinect which is the coolest thing ever invented.
you just talk to it and tell it what to do. no controllers or remotes.
i really want one when i get home - dad, hint hint ;)
then i went to bed and fell asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow.
because of the time difference i was exhusted.
