merry christmas!

helloooo australia! happy boxing day!
today is christmas here! so i was up at sparrow fart, because "santa came! santa came!" lol were the words being yelled whilst running downstairs and into my room.
so we went out and everyone opened their presents. ben (the baby) played with the boxes and wrapping paper that presents came in, he didnt even bother with any of the toys he got.
jack and sarah loved their presents from me, thankfully.
i got a present from everyone too. i got the hunger games books series, a bag of chocolate covered sultanas - which were from the cat - a starbucks girft card and a whole heaps of little things in my stocking.
great presents1 now i can drink coffee from starbucks while eating sultanas and reading my new book. could you ask for anything more?
then after that was all over with, it didnt really seem like christmas. i had to fight the urge to go back to sleep, so i made two pavlovas - one from scratch and one from a 'magic pavlova egg' which i think tasted like shit.
but anyway. oh and the reason i didnt make two from scratch is because i need five eggs for each and we had ten eggs but lucy needed four for the pumpkin pie, so i decided to try an egg mix. not recommended. mine was a thousand time better.
then we got the tables ready, cleaned up, showered, made ourselves look nice and then everyone started arriving.
it was a pot luck christmas so everyone was allocated something to bring, and there was SO much food.
i ate about five times to much and i couldnt fit one more thing down my throat if i tried. i am so full right now.
oh and we did a white elephant gift exchange for the adults.
so everyone brings a gift and we are all given a number to see the order of who goes when.
the first person picks a wrapped present from under the tree and opens it and everyone sees what it is. teh second person can then 'take' the first persons present or chose another one from under the tree. and this goes on until all the gifts are done. you can chose to 'take' anyone elses gift but the gift can only be stolen three times before it cant be taken anymore.
it was really fun, but i ended up with a file-a-fax.. yay, just what i always wanted haha
now i am in bed, reading my book, and about to sleep. i am exhusted.
