ice hockey!

hey!
well the kids are off school until tuesday for winter break, so i had them all day again.
washed towels and sheets, played with their new toys and games and then we went to walmart after lunch so they could use the gift cards that they got.
then to game stop and best buy to find some little figure thing that harrison wants, but everywhere has sold out - seems they are quite popular.
went to the park - oh but before i got there some complete wanker pulled out straight in front of me, and a hundred other cars on a busy road, and almost killed us, lucky we have good breaks.
and anyway - froze my arse off at the park, it was only -1 celcius today.
came home and told the kids to have an hours rest - which they could read if the wanted but they all fell asleep.. score! so i had an hour and a half nap as well.
then i got ready to go to my first ice hockey game! it was only a collage game, but hey, the guys were hot.
so we drove to stoors, which is where the university of connecticut is, about an hours drive, and we park, walk for about five minutes to the stadium, we are trying to find our section of seats, and i hadnt even looked at the arena part, and then we realise we are at womans basketball, hahahahahaha!
so we walked another ten minutes to the ice hockey arena, and we had really good seats!
the game was really good too. our team won, and in between 'periods' like quarters, and when the puck goes to the otehr team, they play really loud cool music - just like the movies!
got a uconn huskies shirt for $1! then we walked alllll the way back to the car, stopped at maccas on the way home, and i kept reading the third book in my series called 'mockingjay' on the way home.. almost done.
