hey!
wow. hello february. time has flowwnnnn by. it feels like i was in montreal only yesterday.
today it was soooo lovely. it was a warm fifteen degrees by noon, and i was absolutely loving it. it was actually warmer outside in the sun then it was inside.
so the kids went to school, i started and abruptly finished the washing because the washing machine has decided to be a major turd and wont drain/spin the water out. and because the water is trapped in there, there door wont unlock (it is a front load washer) which means the clothes are stuck! god dammit. i hate front load washers.
oh and i had/have a MAJOR head cold today.. and my head feels like it will explode.
so this morning i popped some pills and went back to sleep only to hear a 'knock knock' on the front door - first i thought i was dreaming, then i heard it again and decided it was the post lady and she would just leave whatever it was at the front door and then the doorbell rang, so i had to go down stairs. turned out to be the guy dropping off the skip bin for the guys who are fixing the garage roof (from when a tree went through it in the snow storm).
i go back to sleep, forty five minutes later the doorbell rings, again! its the guy dropping off the crap to fix the roof.
go back to sleep, and then was woken by lauren asking if i was still going to the gym. i guess i slept through the alarm i set.
but we decided that a jog along the river would be nicer because it was such a nice day and i needed air because my head still hurt.
so we went jogging, watched a poor old mans bike slip on the section of ice he was riding over, so we helped him out, and then another guy on his bike fell as well. so lauren and i ended up adventure walking up the side hill so we didnt have to cross it.
came home and made eggs for lunch, showered, watched jenna marbles on youtube...
sidenote - type in youtube, 'jenna marbles' and watch any of her videos, she is absolutely hilarious.
nb: i wouldnt suggest any of the grandparentals to do this though, there is a lot of swearing and inappropriatness.
kids came home, did homework, the boys painted the racecars for the weekend, G and i did his project on sharks, he told me what to type and i typed because he types a word per minute and i just dont have the patience - or time - for that. i learnt quite alot about sharks. for instance, did you know they are made out of catilage and not bones? or that they hatch from an egg inside the mum before growing to be big enough to be born? interesting huh?
made spag bol for dinner. and now i am finished..
head is still killing me. but i must not sleep. not until 9pm when one tree hill is over. last weeks episode was a major cliffhanger, and I MUST WATCH IT TONIGHT!
oh and last night, i brought some new swimmers online. they are volcom and they are really cute. it was free over night shipping so they will be here tomorrow! yay!
