busy..

hey!
well i was woken up this morning by a phone call from dad, at 7:40.
so we chatted for a while, and plan to skype on the weekend. oh and we talked about how his package hadn't come yet, and then later this morning, it did! and i love it. incase you didn't see my facebook status it had tim tams, nescafe coffee, papaw ointment, a little bottle of cointreau and midori (because they are my favourite) and a pair of washing up/cleaning gloves - because he is hilarious.
so the kids went to bible school, and harrison went to his dad's last night until friday, soooo i had no kids for three hours! i went to kohls and brought a dress and an american t-shirt to wear for 4th of july - which was only $5! - and then i got a coffee and wandered around the book store, but restrained myself from buying ANOTHER book. crazy right? i never read books! ever. and now i love them.
then i went to walmart and got matt's birthday present, he is eight on saturday, like grandma, although she will be just a few more birthdays older then that ;)
then to the "geek squad" which no i didn't make up myself, they actually call themselves that, at best buys which is like harvey norman, to see if they knew how to fix my ipod because the menu button is broken and instead of scrolling through the songs list i have to press 'next' a thousand times (literally) to find a sing i want to listen to.
butttt they said it was no use trying to fix it because it would cost more to do then just buying a new one. (the new ipod nanos, that are touch, but only tiny, are $150, hint hint daddy)
and then i came home for a little bit, which is when my package came, and then picked up the kids, we came home and had lunch, then went to the library...
which i love! it is huge. and the kids place kept the kids entertained for about two hours! so i just chilled, read a book that i borrowed, called beauty queens, that i was going to buy this morning for $18. so i'm glad i didn't in the end.
then we went to the pool. but the sun wasn't out, so i couldn't work on my "kind of but will never really be" tan.
came home, made dinner, ate dinner and then racha nd i started to watch a movie in my room and karen took the boys with her to do some stuff in town.
so i took rach with me, because she asked so nicely, to starbucks. she loved it. and was extremely good.
and there is a new aussie girl here now, she came on friday. yay!
and now i am going to sleep, like a log, because i am THAT exhusted.
