sick as a dog..

hey!
well i spoke too soon, my throat is sore, and the cough is beginning.. yay.
i have almost used a whole box of tissues today as well.
and to top things off, its columbus day, sooo the kids get a day off.
and no we didn't stay home and watch movies like any normal sick au piar, we went to nomads, the place we went to a week or so ago but it was closed.
with the arcade games, pool and air hockey tables, rock climbing, mini golf, bummer cars, laser tag, tea cup and saucer rides.. with seven kids - the kids three cousins, against me and joanne, the kids grandma.
but before we went i cleaned all of downstairs and the kids rooms, got them dressed and fed, and then me ready and we went.
it was quite fun at nomads though. we all had a card each with about 130 points on it (most games were around 4 points to play, and the bigger things like laser tag about 20).
and then at the end you tade in all the tokens you won for toys.
so we were there for about three hours, the whole time i had a whopping headache and the place was full of screaming kids, yeah it hurt alot.
and when we were in the car, the d***head drivers were obviously out and about today and making we want to kill something.
first theres this idiot who wouldn't pull over for an ambulance - with its siren and lights on - who was right behind him!
then the car who was infront of the car infront of me took a good 15 seconds to go when the light turned green at the traffic lights.
anyway, we stopped at maccas on the way home so they could have ice-cream, stayed at joannes for about hour, then came home.
i put dinner on, cleaned the bathrooms, vaccumed upstairs and the staircase, fed them dinner, did more homework catch up with rachel and started the showers.
now i am finally done. and ready to curl up into a ball and die.
i think a hot shower, bowl of soup and some gossip girl will help.
