hello australiaaaaa!
guess what? it's been 365 days. three hundred and sixty five days! oh. my. god.
i remember my first ever post.. like it was yesterday.
and now i have been here for a year, and i will be home in twenty two days.
and i'm not an au pair anymore.
and today was my last ever day as "official" au pair.
woah.
so i will see you all soooooooon! so very very soon!
today, was busy.
kids went to school, we had breakfast, got dressed and then went to micheals - to buy feathers for rachels project, to staples - to return grace's diary, to stop and shop - to buy eggs, to the liquor depot - to buy supplies, to old navy - well just because we could, and we were lost looking for target, so the obvious thing to do in that situation is to shop (i brought chloe a shirt, me some cute peachy coloured shorts and some blotting papers for my face haha) then to target (once we found it) - to buy another diary, and finally to starbucks - to buy an iced coffee, which i paid for out of my coin purse.. don't you hate it when people do that? lol
so we got home and finished rachels dinosaur.. we put in all the feathers, red and purple ones, and now it looks awesome.
then grace went for her second and last driving lesson with ed while i ate lunch and watched criminal minds.
then the kids got home and three of them went straight with their dad so we only had harrison and he watched youtube all afternoon so grace and i baked my going away dinner cake for tomorrow night.
it took about three hours altogether - and that included a trip to stop and shop to buy more chocolate to melt and icing, which convieniently didn't come in the packet - and now it is a two tiered cake with chocoalte shards around it and its just beautiful.
oh and we had this awesome frozen dinner, watched say yes to the dress and i tested out my 'space saving vacuum sealer bags' thats came today and they are bloody great! they actually work! best $40 i have spent all year.
then we went to the movies to see 'mirror mirror' which was hilarious.
came home and discovered that i have the new internet explorer because my computer updated last night, so yay for that.
and now i am waiting for dad to call me back - he called when i was about to go into the movies - and i am hoping its soon because i didn't even nanna nap today and i am extremely tired.
